Upcoming Conferences
June will be a busy month for Satlantic as we participate in two conferences and one workshop. First up will be the International Association for Great Lakes Research Conference that will take place in Duluth Minnesota from May 30th to June 3rd. The IAGLR meeting this year includes more than 35 scientific sessions covering topics ranging from water quality science to habitat management to environmental policy. If you plan to attend, please drop by the Satlantic booth to meet Cyril Dempsey and see how our sensors and systems can help with your research and monitoring programs.
Immediately following the IAGLR meeting, Geoff MacIntyre will be attending the joint USGS-CUAHSI workshop on in situ optical water quality sensor networks in Shepherdstown, West Virginia. The three-day workshop will focus a diverse group of scientists and managers on developing community standards for making high-quality environmental measurements with existing optical sensors, as well as developing a vision for the next generation of sensors required to support water quality monitoring in rivers and streams. Satlantic has been invited to participate in the discussions and provide perspective and insight from the instrument providers point of view.
To complete a busy couple of weeks, Robert Burns will be attending the USGS National Data Water Conference in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This is the first time Satlantic will attend this meeting and we are looking forward to the opportunity to support our growing USGS customer base.
If you plan to attend any of these events, please feel free to drop by and discuss your applications with our helpful representatives. In the meantime, if you have any questions, please contact us anytime.Upcoming
