The SAT-THS (Satlantic Tilt-Heading Sensor) is an advanced pitch/roll compensated compass/magnetometer system. The instrument is well suited for numerous oceanographic applications requiring precision orientation, navigation and leveling information.

The SAT-THS gives the user a continuous 360-degree azimuth heading, combined with angular directional tilts from the horizontal plane. The SAT-THS is compatible with SATNet, Satlantic’s proprietary instrument networking protocol. Telemetry can be obtained by PC-based acquisition software such as SatView, or by embedded systems such as DacNet.
