Be sure to include the following information on your shipping labels:
1. "Goods Returning to Canadian Manufacturer for Repair/Calibration"
2. Ship to Address (See Schenker Canada's Address below)
3. Your Return Address
4. RMA Number

You will require the following pieces of information for your shipment when you are shipping from outside of Canada.
These are:
1. A commercial invoice showing the description of your equipment and the value for customs purposes.
It is very important to state that the goods are returning to Canadian manufacturer for repair.
Failure to include this statement in your invoice may result in Canada Customs assessing duties and
taxes on your shipment. The shipper will be responsible for these fees.
2. A copy of your completed Waybill that is used for your courier. Satlantic's customs broker is Schenker Canada
and we recommend using them, if possible, for ease of International clearance.
3. Any forms that are required for your country's customs agency. Check with your customs agency or your
shipping broker to ensure you have all the information that is necessary.
RMA Details:
Upon arrival at Satlantic, your shipment will be logged into our RMA system, and you will receive an "Equipment Return Notification" email.
Instruments will receive an initial visual inspection, and you will be informed if any repairs are required.
If repairs are not required, your requested servicing and calibrations will take place.
Calibration results sometimes determine that additional repairs are required - you will be informed if this occurs.
All instruments have to complete quality verification after repair and/or calibration.
When instruments pass final testing, we will provide you with a final quotation for the servicing and payment can be made.
Payment can be provided using a Purchase Order or credit card (VISA and MasterCard accepted).
Satlantic requires your Purchase Order, or credit card payment before return shipping can occur.
Return shipping:
Your final quotation will include a return shipping and handling fee.
If you would like to use a specific courier, or your own shipping account, please provide complete details via email.
Shipping fee includes shipment from Satlantic to your Airport. Additional costs associated with Customs clearance,
duties and taxes, shipping from airport to your facility, is at owners expense.
In an effort to avoid unwanted delay, also provide your billing information, and destination details.
Required destination details include the recipient's name, address, and telephone number.
