The Satlantic SUNA Nitrate sensor is complemented by SUNACom, a Windows based software package enabling easy set up, operation and in-field calibration updates. SUNACom software is designed to make instrument setup and operation easy and robust.
 
The newly released SUNACom 2.0 package has added significant improvements to the original version including: 
 
Nitrate Post-Processing
SUNACom 2.0 now includes the capability to re-process previously logged data files, eliminating the need to learn and operate the Matlab based ISUSPro program. All the functions previously available in ISUSPro have been included in SUNACom 2.0. The nitrate post-processing function enables users to experiment with different processing parameters and calibration files to re-calculate nitrate values. 
 
Total Absorbance Graph
The total absorbance graph allows users to view the sampled absorption curve in real-time. Total measured absorbance is an intermediate product of the nitrate calculation that has now been brought out to the GUI for viewing, making quality checking of data easier and more intuitive.
 
Reduced Binary Frame
The latest SUNA Instrument firmware has the ability to output a more compact binary frame to be used in longer bandwidth sensitive deployments. This format is also supported in SUNACom 2.0. Using this feature requires a SUNA upgrade if firmware is less than 2.0.
